Urban Space Categorization

This work categorizes urban spaces by combining visitor density with visitor diversity. Using geosocial media data from Singapore, it shows that density alone does not fully capture the performance or character of urban places.

The project offers a more relational view of urban space by asking not only how many people visit, but also where those visitors come from.
