Auckland Urban Hotspots Under Lockdown

This early version of the urban hotspots work studies Auckland during COVID-19 lockdown conditions, asking whether hotspots should be understood as risky concentrations of activity or as resilient urban infrastructure.

The paper uses mobile location data to examine how density and diversity of visitors changed under lockdown constraints.
