Entangled Footprints

This work studies urban neighborhoods in Singapore through distance, diversity, and direction of flows. Using geosocial media data, it reconstructs relational footprints that connect home neighborhoods with destinations.

The project helps show that neighborhoods are not only bounded areas on a map, but also positions within wider networks of movement and interaction.

Understanding neighborhoods through the flows that connect them.
